About Mike

Elliot Erwitt, a French-born American photographer once said, "Photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them."
I have more than 30 years of photographic experience capturing and creating images. I am a visual storyteller. I strive to create images that have a wonderful narrative.
I started as a student at the University of Southern California (USC), where I worked for the university’s News Bureau, the athletic department, and various other groups and organizations on campus. One year I had the honor of being the photo chief of the yearbook. I have been fortunate enough to have my photos used in advertisements, press books, wire services, and various other print publications.
Today, my photography consists of destination excursions, special events, corporate projects, magazine covers, media campaigns, and anything I feel could benefit from my storytelling skills.

There is nothing more enjoyable than capturing a spectacular image that tells a story; a victory smile, a proud parent, the glow of the morning sun, a tear of joy, a congratulatory handshake or hug, and a job well done. It can be so awe-inspiring.
Let me know if my images will complement the walls of your home, office, or business. If you have a story that needs to be visually told; let me tell it. Photos capture a moment in time you will remember forever.
